In this album, George Mgrdichian is accompanied by Souren Baronian on saxophone, Mohammed El-Akkad on kanun, Edmond Joseph on darbuka, Steve Knight on bass, Nick Mandoukos on guitar and Hanna Mirhige on darbuka and def. We will briefly review George Mgrdichian.

"George Mgrdichian holds a masters degree from The Julliard School of Music in clarinet and is a self-taught vituoso on the oud. Mgrdichian has been performing classical, folk and popular music on the oud for several years. His debut recital took place at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. A series of recitals and other musical events lead Mgrdichian to play with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. This was the first time the oud made its appearance with a major symphony orchestra."
