Fudah on ney and Sayyid M. M. Husayn on ud. There is not much information about the musicians in the CD's program notes, all it says is that "the players are all leading members of Alfirqat al-qaumia al-'arabiya lil-musigi (The National Arab Music Ensemble, Egypt) which belongs to the new Opera House in Cairo (The National Culture Center, Egypt)." (written by Mizuno Nobuo, from CD's program notes) "Classical Music of Egypt" was released by King Records which is a label from Japan. They have a web-site, but it is mainly in Japanese.
