"Said Chraibi was born on February 2, 1951 in Marrakech from a local family proud of its traditions and culture. He was initiated to the oud at 13 and through the years has explored the riches of Andalusian music ... He has toured Morocco and the entire Arab world as well as Europe and the United States.
This album is almost entirely composed of works written by Said Chraibi for the 'Fez through dream paints' folio reuniting Meriem Mezian, a Moroccon painter and Fina de Calderon, a Spanish author." (information from CD's program notes)
